Automatic time tracking
Time tracking is performed in the background, automatically recording all
computer related activities and time spent on each activity (when each activity
was performed and for how long).
Time tracking can be invisible to the users (no sounds, no messages, no
windows displayed).
What is recorded
WorkTime records all activities performed on a computer (launching applications,
opening documents, visiting web-sites) and the actual time spent on each activity.
"Actual" means that an application/document window is active (selected)
and there is keyboard or mouse activity.
Browsers - what is recorded: WorkTime records web-sites, URLs, page titles and
time when activity was performed. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6/7/8, Mozilla Firefox
2/3/3.5 are supported.
Time tracking, but not spying
WorkTime provides pure time tracking functionality, it does not support
any spying functions that can break users' privacy: it does not record screens,
keystrokes, emails or chats content.
