By default WorkTime appears in the right bottom corner of the screen.
Default User Name is your Windows login name.
Just press Start and WorkTime will accumulate information about your work with computer until you press Stop or shut down your computer.
Default Project Name is Project 1.
To edit project names or add new projects click on the "..." button or go to the WorkTime Options, Customize & Edit|Projects and edit or add projects.
Can WorkTime launch and start collecting data automatically on Windows start?
Yes, it can. You can customize WorkTime to work in a fully-automatic mode when it is launched on Windows start and starts tracking automatically; also stops when there is no keyboard or mouse activity.
Can WorkTime run completely hidden (no messages, no sounds, no icon)?
Yes, it can. You can run WorkTime in a Hidden Mode to survey usage of your computer in a completely hidden state:
Go to the WorkTime Options, Security and activate Hidden Mode.
Hidden Mode can be password protected.
To switch back from the Hidden Mode press CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + W and enter the password.
Can WorkTime collect data from computers in the company's network?
Yes, it can. WorkTime can work in a client-server mode collecting data form the company's workstations to the server database.
This simplifies tracking of all company's computers.
Is it possible to use WorkTime if network connection is not available?
Yes. WorkTime can run in Offline mode when database or network is not available.
In this case all data is saved locally and then will be added to the main database when reconnected.
