WorkTime Features: Offline Mode
 
WorkTime can run in offline mode when database is not available. In this case all data is saved locally and can be added to the database later.

This is an absolutely necessary feature for laptop users and remote employees who don't have permanent connection to the network.

All data, that was collected locally, will be added to the database when database is available or it can be simply sent via e-mail and then added to the database.

Offline mode is also useful for the cases when connection to the database is simply lost for a technical reason.

The main about Offline Mode feature: your data is always stored and accurate, even if connection to the database is lost.

Use cases

Laptop users. If you are a laptop user, this is how WorkTime Offline mode works for you:

Step 1. Your laptop is connected to the company's local network and WorkTime can access the server database.
Step 2. If it is time for you to disconnect your laptop, simply disconnect it.
Step 3. When working without connecting to the server database, WorkTime will propose to switch to Offline Mode. Simply select to work offline and continue your work.
Step 4. When your laptop is back in the company's local network, press Go Online button on the main WorkTime window - WorkTime will connect to the database and all data collected locally during offline work will be automatically added to the database.
