WorkTime can work in a client-server mode when all data from
client computers is saved to the server database. This feature simplifies
gathering data and viewing reports for different computers in your the network.
Run WorkTime in the local network
WorkTime can work in a client-server mode collecting data form the local
network workstations to the server database. Server database should be located
on the server workstation (server workstation is just a computer in your
local network).
View reports for remote workstations
Reports can be run right on the server workstation, where all data about
the local network computers is collected (See Network
Support). Using reports you can view, print or export collected data
(See Reports).
Compare usage of different workstations
Reports can be run right on the server workstation. Using Worktime reports
you can compare usage of different computers in your LAN (See Reports).
Analyze work of different employees
Using Worktime reports you can compare your employees working time (See
Reports).
Track remote employees
Remote employees, who don't have connection to your local network, can run
WorkTime on a local database, then collected data can be added to your server
database (See Network Support).
Track laptop employees
Laptop employees, who don't always have connection to the local network,
can run WorkTime in an offline mode, collecting all data locally. Data can
be added to the server database when a laptop is connected to the local
network (See Network Support, Offline
Mode).
