How it works
Automatic invisible monitoring
Monitoring is performed in the background absolutely invisibly to the employees,
automatically recording what activities employees perform on company's computers,
when and for how long.
What is recorded
WorkTime records computer-related activities and time: what is run on a
computer (applications, documents, web-sites), when and for how long. Recorded
statistics show the actual time of each activity. "The actual"
means, application/document window is active (selected) and there is mouse
or keyboard activity.
System, network, installation
WorkTime Corporate is a client-server system developed to monitor computers
usage in a local or distributed network. The system consists of a few applications:
server application, administrative/reporting application and client application.
Client application is installed on each computer that should be monitored.
Client application works invisibly to the users, it requires very little
system resources. Server application is used to process requests to the
database. Administrative/reporting tool is used to setup the system and
to build reports.
Monitoring, but not spying
WorkTime is a monitoring software, it does not support any spying functionality
that may break employees' privacy: it does not record screens, keystrokes,
emails and chats content.
Terminal clients
WorkTime is designed to monitor computer usage under Windows Terminal Services
(Remote Desktop Services) and Citrix Server (Citrix XenApp, Citrix MetaFrame
Server, Citrix Presentation Server).
Reliability/Performance/Scalability
WorkTime Corporate is designed especially for heavy loads - hundreds and
thousands of clients. WorkTime thin client is optimized the way so it requires
very little system resources. Reporting application and database are optimized
to process big volume of information.

WorkTime Corporate is licensed per seat (per tracking client). There is one time
license fee, no monthly charges. The license includes one year of technical support
and upgrades to all new WorkTime versions, however, once purchased, the license
never expires and can be used without any additional charges.
